The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) held a meeting on May 23, 2017. See the attached meeting minutes (PDF.)
The LEPC is a partnership with local governments and industries to improve hazardous materials preparedness. LEPC conducts hazard identification, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessment activities. Federal and state statutes require LEPCs to develop and maintain emergency response plans. These are based on the volumes and types of substances found in, or transported through, our districts.
