These thefts can, in turn, damage your reputation and safety. Cyber attacks have wide-ranging effects on individuals, organizations, the community, and nation. Based on a recent assessment of Kitsap County, cyber attacks are rated a moderate risk threat.
What is KCDEM doing to address cyber attacks?
The Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management (KCDEM) held a symposium in October 2019. There, local, state, and federal experts presented information on cyber security threats. Plans to repeat the event have been delayed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
