Wednesday, April 6 from 10 – 11 a.m. PT via Adobe Connect Platform

Please join FEMA Regions 2 and 10 National Preparedness Divisions for a webinar on the role Community Based Organizations can play during an emergency.

Community Based Organizations (CBOs) such as food banks provide critical support year-round and have been especially important during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this webinar, we will hear how Volunteers of America’s Hunger Prevention Services, located in Western Washington, have supported their communities during COVID-19, their lessons learned from thepast two years, and how you can apply these lessons to your own organization.

Who should attend: We encourage individuals, volunteers, and community-based organizations that are interested in preparedness and resilience to join.
