“Ready, Set, Go!” campaign promotes clear evacuation messaging
A dozen Western Washington counties and the Suquamish Tribe are joining first responder partners to highlight the importance of "Ready, Set, Go!" evacuation messages as another wildfire season approaches. Stay Cool
Did you know? When the National Weather Service forecasts extreme heat conditions, KCDEM coordinates with community partners to provide cooling stations in the population centers within Kitsap County for those who are not able to stay cool in their home or apartment. At times, KCDEM will utilize its team of volunteers to open some of these cooling stations.
