Ribbon Cutting at Open House
The ribbon cutting of the KCDEM Operations & Training Center included a number of elected officials, community leaders, distinguished guests and community members. Over 150 people attended the Open House and were able to walk through the recently constructed facility. Stay Cool
Did you know? When the National Weather Service forecasts extreme heat conditions, KCDEM coordinates with community partners to provide cooling stations in the population centers within Kitsap County for those who are not able to stay cool in their home or apartment. At times, KCDEM will utilize its team of volunteers to open some of these cooling stations.
