Training for Extreme Winter Storm shelters – Dec. 7

KCDEM, in partnership with the American Red Cross, is providing Extreme Winter Storm Shelter Training on Saturday 7, December, 2024. The training will be held at the the Kitsap County Emergency Services Operations & Training Center, 8900 Imperial Way SW, Bremerton from 9 a.m. – noon. Stay Cool

Did you know? When the National Weather Service forecasts  extreme heat conditions, KCDEM coordinates with community partners to provide cooling stations in the population centers within Kitsap County for those who are not able to stay cool in their home or apartment. At times, KCDEM will utilize its team of volunteers to open some of these cooling stations.
