Volunteers serving under the Kitsap County Emergency Operations Center are working at five sites this very day. A total of 75 volunteers are working at three vaccination clinics, the drive thru test site, and at the Quarantine and Isolation Center. With their amazing contributions, Kitsap County is effectively meeting some of the significant challenges we face in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past six week, 675 new volunteers have been processed and are now able to contribute to these vital operations. With over 1000 applications received, no additional applications are being processed at this time. As vaccination efforts expand in Kitsap County, a new call for volunteers will be made.
