A volunteer appreciation event was held at the KCDEM Staging area December 15th to recognize volunteers who have given so much to the COVID-19 response effort. Below, Dr. Morrow from the Kitsap Public Health District, shares his thanks for the support everyone has given over the past two years.
As we hopefully transition out of pandemic response support, training and exercises for other events such as earthquakes will ramp up. The chart below shows the staggering number of hours volunteers contributed to KCDEM operations. We couldn’t do it without their help.
