READY BREMERTON 2026 is a FREE kid-friendly disaster preparedness fair this Saturday, September 19 at the Evergreen Rotary Park in Bremerton from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Several local organizations, will set up their resource booths in the same area where the Farmers Market sets up on Thursdays.
September is National Preparedness Month. It’s a great time to remember that being preparing for disasters is a community-wide commitment. At KCDEM we want every household to be ready for emergencies and disasters. Preparedness starts at home AND it extends to the neighborhood. It will be neighbors helping neighbors that will save lives when The Big One hits. Preparedness also pulls the Community TOGETHER. Kitsap County is filled with people and organizations with skills, knowledge and resources that are critical to responding effectively in the crisis of disaster AND essential in helping each community bounce back from a disaster. Ready Bremerton 2026 is a catalyst to promote preparedness at home and in the neighborhood. It is also a celebration of the Kitsap non-profits, agencies and businesses committed to pulling together before, during and after a disaster.
The event will feature 20-minute presentations every half hour, preparedness resources, giveaways and fun activities for kids. Come when you can, leave when you must.
